A family vehicle with great off-road capability

The bimobil EX 420 uses a well-established layout comfortable for families of three or four, built onto the extended Iveco 4x4 chassis.

The low ratios of the Iveco give it effectively 24 forward gears, it is available with two or optionally three differential locks. The vast suspension stroke enables tremendous twist making it an extreme offroader and simply great on corrugated tracks and potholed roads.

The seating group for four is fitted with seat belts and placed in the forward part of the cabin, so that the passengers have a comfortable ride and can communicate with the people travelling in the driver cab while on the road.

The well-equipped kitchen is conveniently placed opposite the dinette. On the same side of the vehicle in the rear are the bunk beds for sleeping two, partitioned with curtains so that the occupants can retire with some privacy while other passengers are still using the seating group.

The space under the lower bunk bed can be used for storage from the outside, indeed the lower bunk bed itself can be designed on request to be used as storage or for example as a dog cage. Further external storage is available in the vast heated double floor space which covers the whole vehicle and holds the the fresh water and waste water tanks.

Opposite the bunk beds at the rear of the vehicle is the ample bathroom with separate shower cubicle, the entrance door and a very spacious cupboard/wardrobe unit.

The comfortable double master bed is in the Luton over the driver cab.
