In 1977, mechanical engineer Raimund von Liebe founded a motor home business that would grow rapidly over the next few years. Nowadays, Bimobil-von Liebe GmbH has 30 office and manufacturing employees, who produce about 100 motor homes annually. The company is therefore not large, but more like a great workshop with an excellent working environment and highly qualified. dedicated employees who manufacture these mobile homes with the utmost skill and - most importantly - with passion. This skill and know-how is enhanced by employing state-of-the-art technology and advanced manufacturing methods with the latest tools. Our cabins, fixtures and fittings are all developed and designed on our CAD system which boosts manufacturing accuracy and ensures top-quality products.

The name Bimobil was actually derived from the dual-purpose of a pick-up truck as a means of travel and a means of transportation the quick-mounting cabin system has always been one of the focal points within the production program. Cabins equipped with Bimobil’s auto-positioning, quick-mounting system are available for practically all vehicle makes, ranging from Nissan 4 x 4 pick-ups , Ford and VW, to large Iveco and Mercedes Benz lorry-type vehicles. Today, roughly one half of overall motor home production comprises pick-up models, while fixed chassis-mounted cabins make up the other half. We also manufacture service and lab vehicles as well as special transportation containers. And since 1995, we have also offered ‘bimobil-style’ caravans. Whatever the product, our priorities are always focussed on top quality and sound technical workmanship.
Our cabins are made from our exclusive sandwich material with a high-quality closed pore/cell foam core, which provides excellent insulation. Elimination of cold bridges in the design stage also prevents cold transfer from the exterior. Another bimobil trademark is the highly accurate finish. The interior fit-out compliments the quality of the cabin in all aspects. Bimobil is renowned for its superb carpentry and a functional layout with countless clever details. Furthermore, Bimobil has always attached considerable importance to the use of environment- and people-friendly materials within the vehicle manufacturing process, where possible.

Design itself is one of the essential trademark features of a Bimobil. Clean exterior contours, white or silver exterior coating with brightly coloured stripes (more discrete tones also available) and an interior design that is anything but ordinary: bright and natural wood fittings with many smart details, combined with fresh and brightly coloured materials practical and liveable, no unnecessary kitsch, no plush and no everyday gloom. Thanks to our highly experienced team of Bimobil builders who appreciate individuality, we are only too delighted to translate your special wishes or even complete custom-designs into reality. The flexibility of our designs and manufacturing processes enables the adaptation of cabin dimensions, layout and furnishing while maintaining the superior quality standards of Bimobil. |
