The EX 480 is built on a MAN all wheel drive chassis 10.225 LAEC equipped with an excellent engine that produces 162 kW/220 HP. A very complete standard equipment list including air-conditioning, comfort seats, electric exterior mirrors, tinted sun visor, cruise control and much more ensures that this robust all-wheel vehicle offers top-notch comfort in its cab. The technical equipment list is of the highest order too: permanent all-wheel drive, 3 differential locks (front, rear and central), ABS, tropical and winter kit for the engine, 200-l diesel tank and many other original MAN extras. |

The cabin is joined to a rugged intermediate frame which is mounted on the MAN chassis with 6 rubber cushions for optimum comfort.These intermediate frames are manufactured by a well-known specialist company, Toni Maurer GmbH, for off-road truck frames. The advantage of these frames is improved off-road ability cushioning for the cabin. |

A fold-up underbody protection fully preserves the approach angle.
Thanks to this equipment, the EX 480 offers excellent handling characteristics even on the most difficult terrain. Since the Bimobil cabin is extremely tough, but relatively light, this 10-ton truck can be homologated as a 7.49-ton vehicle, with additional loading capacity still to spare.
